The Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Education Association (ECBEA) annually awards scholarships to many students enrolled in the Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Program.
Applications will be accepted from July 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026.
Students in grades 6 – 12 who are enrolled in the Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Program continuously since grade 4 are eligible to apply.
Students in beginner programs (Chinese Language & Culture: 3-year and 6-year programs) are not eligible.
Applications are accepted using Google Forms, and you will require a Google account such as your Edmonton Public Schools login, or a personal Gmail account, to fill in the application form. If you have any issues with accessing the form, please contact scholarshipform@ecbea.org.
The judging committee is composed of people who may be alumni, ECBEA members, former ECBEA members, or members of the public – all separate from the ECBEA executive.
To reduce the possibility of bias from gender, ethnicity, or religion, names are removed from applications. The judging committee reviews applications with student names removed.
